Mela Luxury Game Lodge is Luxury Safari Lodge within the Dinokeng Game Reserve, located in the Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality near Pretoria, Gauteng Province. It was formerly known as Letsomong Lodge.
This intimate lodge offers a range of accommodations, including air-conditioned safari Suites signature stone-capped chalets, a safari house and family units, catering to various needs from solo travelers to couples, families, social gatherings, commercial conferences, and team-building groups. Guests can unwind and rejuvenate in the serene setting, enjoying spa treatments, the pool, and a comfortable lounge area.

Our spacious couple’s chalet consists of a king bed with an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. It was designed to be further away from the other units, to create a little privacy. The Couples Chalet has an air-conditioner, a coffee station, fridge, and microwave.

The Safari House is a beautifully appointed 3 bedroom unit with 1 en-suite bedroom, and 2 loft bedrooms aligning to the rounded thatched roof. The House features a full self catering kitchen and outside braai area. Suitable for a family getaway.

Mela Game Lodge is situated in the southern part of the Dinokeng Game Reserve, about an hour away from OR Tambo Airport. Leeufontein Nature Reserve is 26 km from Mela Luxury Game Lodge, while Cullinan Train Station is 28 km away. The nearest airport is Wonderboom Airport, 47 km from the lodge.
